Ayurvedic Mind & Body Treatments
Ayurvedic practice is considered a medicine that treats mind, body, soul and the universe as one being. Its belief holds that all things, including people, are composed of the five elements of water, fire, earth, air, and space. If the balance of these five elements becomes disrupted within a person, illness occurs. Rebalance is possible through Ayurvedic practices to restore the five elements and regain health and happiness.

Indian Head Massage
Indian Head massage is so effective as it helps soothe and relax the nervous system while relieving joint and muscle stiffness. And of course, it is a very beneficial treatment for tension headaches and eyestrain. Also, different strokes and pressure are used to stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory system. Indian head massage is a beauty treatment as well. The secret of Indian women’s lustrous shining hair is the mixture of oils and the special blend of aromatherapy oils to relax or energize the person. (Oil on hair is optional of course). It also is like a mini facial minimizing fine lines and replenishing skin from within. Indian head massage works well with Shirodhara treatment as well.
Shirodhara literally meaning “head flow” is one of the most desired Ayurvedic treatments. Beginning with a head, scalp, neck, and shoulder massage, you will begin to calm the wandering mind. Meditative bliss will occur as a slow pouring of medicinal oils cascade over your sixth chakra, stimulating your third eye and window to the soul. Recommended for headaches and insomnia.
Shirodhara can also help relieve symptoms of anxiety, stress, fatigue, and hypertension. It relieves tension, worry, fear and headache as well as depression. It regulates mood and gives feelings of pleasure and relaxation.
